Gut, was heißt schon ‘normal’.

Hi world,
after months and months of no sign of life from my part, I want to let you all know that I’m still alive (*laugh*). I’ve been busy with stuff like new building improvements, hiking…
And taking photographs. CHeck the new section, the photo album.
Â
Cheers

Yesterday we made a few shots of Andy, doing crazy things with his snowboard. See yourself

Shot was taken on Seceda, Val Gardena, on 30th december 2005. We used a Canon EOS 20D with Canon lenses (24-50mm). This image is composed by three fast-shot images.

One of the most exciting parts of our holiday was… well, everything realted to eating and drinking. And where could one like me, mad-for-meat, find a better steak than in San Francisco at Morton’s?
(enjoy our time shifted images. Between each image, there were about 35 minutes :D)
So, the start:

Then, a bit later, the steak arrived…

… and at the end…

Note: No waiters have been hurt during our dinner

Heh, sometimes you just feel like you were better to not do something. You feel the need to alter the past. Awfully, it’s not possible.
So what’s up here, you might ask?
It’s “A long story”! What you say, you’ve plenty of time?
So alright, during the holiday in California this autumn many things happened, as it is quite normal when you live for longer periods together in a group of 4. You see everybody all-day, sometimes even by night ;). Maybe you loose your privacy, you get nervous, and things that happen cause more reactions thant they should to. You see your friends in another way, and hey! it is not always funny.
I don’t want to say more or less than this. I’m sorry about what happened, dunno if I could change something here and there to get all in the right spaces, but it makes me feel like it would’ve been better to go alone there. At least I would remember it clearly as a funny, exciting time in my life. And not just as an exciting time with more long-lasting traces than the ozone hole
Maybe the right people read this. You know, maybe I am kind of mad to write it down here. But times will go on, and so will I. Maybe we read this few lines in a year, and start laughing about that. Maybe we see this and think about this “stupid guy named Lukas”, who knows.
Amen

Do you like snow? Well, I do. I don’t really like to push it away from the parking area here, well, but it’s even fun if you don’t have to do it every day…
So now we have quite a bit of snow laying around. I have my Superskipass ready. Thanks to Armin and his father, every time I am on a slope I can test another pair of ski.
What should I ask more

Alright, we’re starting to set up a few pictures taken during my 3 weeks in California during autumn 2005.
So let’s see an image taken a bit north of San Diego, in the evening.

I’ll try to set up the other images slowly, day by day

It’s been a while since my last post. However, in the meantime I’ve got my new telescope, a brand-new LX200GPS 10″ f/10 from Meade. I like this beast, even if I need to build up a bit more muscles just to carry that monster up and down these mountains here :P.
No seriously, as now I tried it once under pretty good conditions (despite the -20°C :S), but was not really able to use it at full power. Since then I tried it several times under daylight, and I feel quite comfortable with now.
I got also the Meade LPI, a small webcam for planetary images. It works quite well (under daylight, again), so I’ll try it as soon as I get my new purchase… a JMI Mobile’s Carry Case for the Beast. It should be delivered today with UPS. Let’s see

Hey there! After doing some tuning to my new Blog, I switched and worked again on some Digiem projects. It is a fun work, yes, but hey, it takes time. Alot of time.
I spent a few hours coding and designing a new project. Then I watched to Formula One (yes, I am Italian and yes, I want to see Ferrari :)). Afterwards a quick bike tour through Val Gardena and done. So however, did you noticed that NASA’s marsrovers are still active? Well, TV and newspapers are not writing anything about it anymore…
Ah, one thing left. I tested Flash 7 (plugin) for Linux and it rocks!!

Hey there,
after some time struggling with the old news script (yes, the one that used actually text files, heh :P), I decided to switch to a better way of handling news: I went through the net on the search with Google, and I found Wordpress, that actually fits in what I wanted to get. Nice nice
