What is this?
This is the so-called 'official' site of Lukas Demetz, a student from South Tyrol, Italy. The ideas behind this site are a few, not really specific ones. Basically I want to play a bit around with HTML and PHP, as like I also want to show my 'features' to the world ;)
Born in Bolzano in 1984, I've developed a real preference for nature and especially mountains. Living in Val Gardena, mid in the Dolomites, is an experience impossible to explain. However, this fact pushed my life to a special 'mixture' of nature and art lover as also technic-fuzzy.
Now I am going to school, a gastronomic one, renowned Europe-wide for it's quality (Kaiserhof). This makes an exciting mixture of nature, technic and gastronomics, could we call it a 'shake'?
Speaking from the beginning of my life three different languages, German, Italian and Ladin (Raetoroman), I developed towards a multi-language boy. Now I also speak English and French ;)
What I never was able to let stay is astronomy. At the age of seven I've got from my dad a little small telescope from Konus. I took it and look at the Plejades. Boah... Now I have a Maksutov-Cassegrain with 150mm diameter ;)
